Occasionally a script you generate will need you to call the PBS in order for you to generate a code which goes on the prescription. This is the case for certain antibiotics such as those used in treatment resistant conditions where antibiotic resistance has been identified by the microbiologists. In this circumstance you should be able to look up the list of conditions where a prescription is indicated on the PBS website and then give them a call with:
- Prescriber number
- Medicare number
- Script number
Once you have these items you can call:
